Surah 38 سورة 38
1
صٓ ۚ وَٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ ذِى ٱلذِّكۡرِ
en Sâd.

بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ فِى عِزَّةٍۢ وَشِقَاقٍۢ

كَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِهِم مِّن قَرۡنٍۢ فَنَادَوا۟ وَّلَاتَ حِينَ مَنَاصٍۢ

وَعَجِبُوٓا۟ أَن جَآءَهُم مُّنذِرٌۭ مِّنۡهُمۡ ۖ وَقَالَ ٱلۡكَـٰفِرُونَ هَـٰذَا سَـٰحِرٌۭ كَذَّابٌ
en And they (Arab pagans) wonder that a warner (Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) has come to them from among themselves. أَجَعَلَ ٱلۡـَٔالِهَةَ إِلَـٰهًۭا وَٰحِدًا ۖ إِنَّ هَـٰذَا لَشَىۡءٌ عُجَابٌۭ

وَٱنطَلَقَ ٱلۡمَلَأُ مِنۡهُمۡ أَنِ ٱمۡشُوا۟ وَٱصۡبِرُوا۟ عَلَىٰٓ ءَالِهَتِكُمۡ ۖ إِنَّ هَـٰذَا لَشَىۡءٌۭ يُرَادُ

مَا سَمِعۡنَا بِهَـٰذَا فِى ٱلۡمِلَّةِ ٱلۡـَٔاخِرَةِ إِنۡ هَـٰذَآ إِلَّا ٱخۡتِلَـٰقٌ

أَءُنزِلَ عَلَيۡهِ ٱلذِّكۡرُ مِنۢ بَيۡنِنَا ۚ بَلۡ هُمۡ فِى شَكٍّۢ مِّن ذِكۡرِى ۖ بَل لَّمَّا يَذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابِ
en "Has the Reminder been sent down to him (alone) from among us?" Nay, but they are in doubt about My Reminder (this Qur’ân)! أَمۡ عِندَهُمۡ خَزَآئِنُ رَحۡمَةِ رَبِّكَ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡوَهَّابِ

أَمۡ لَهُم مُّلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا ۖ فَلۡيَرۡتَقُوا۟ فِى ٱلۡأَسۡبَـٰبِ

جُندٌۭ مَّا هُنَالِكَ مَهۡزُومٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَحۡزَابِ

كَذَّبَتۡ قَبۡلَهُمۡ قَوۡمُ نُوحٍۢ وَعَادٌۭ وَفِرۡعَوۡنُ ذُو ٱلۡأَوۡتَادِ

وَثَمُودُ وَقَوۡمُ لُوطٍۢ وَأَصۡحَـٰبُ لۡـَٔيۡكَةِ ۚ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلۡأَحۡزَابُ

إِن كُلٌّ إِلَّا كَذَّبَ ٱلرُّسُلَ فَحَقَّ عِقَابِ

وَمَا يَنظُرُ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ إِلَّا صَيۡحَةًۭ وَٰحِدَةًۭ مَّا لَهَا مِن فَوَاقٍۢ

16
وَقَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا عَجِّل لَّنَا قِطَّنَا قَبۡلَ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡحِسَابِ

ٱصۡبِرۡ عَلَىٰ مَا يَقُولُونَ وَٱذۡكُرۡ عَبۡدَنَا دَاوُۥدَ ذَا ٱلۡأَيۡدِ ۖ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌ
en Be patient (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) of what they say, and remember Our slave Dâwûd (David), endued with power. 18
إِنَّا سَخَّرۡنَا ٱلۡجِبَالَ مَعَهُۥ يُسَبِّحۡنَ بِٱلۡعَشِىِّ وَٱلۡإِشۡرَاقِ

19
وَٱلطَّيۡرَ مَحۡشُورَةًۭ ۖ كُلٌّۭ لَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌۭ
en And (so did) the birds assembled: all obedient to him [Dâwûd (David)] [i.e. they came and glorified Allâh’s Praises along with him]. 20
وَشَدَدۡنَا مُلۡكَهُۥ وَءَاتَيۡنَـٰهُ ٱلۡحِكۡمَةَ وَفَصۡلَ ٱلۡخِطَابِ
