أَحَسِبَ ٱلنَّاسُ أَن يُتۡرَكُوٓا۟ أَن يَقُولُوٓا۟ ءَامَنَّا وَهُمۡ لَا يُفۡتَنُونَ

وَلَقَدۡ فَتَنَّا ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ ۖ فَلَيَعۡلَمَنَّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ صَدَقُوا۟ وَلَيَعۡلَمَنَّ ٱلۡكَـٰذِبِينَ
en And We indeed tested those who were before them. أَمۡ حَسِبَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَعۡمَلُونَ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ أَن يَسۡبِقُونَا ۚ سَآءَ مَا يَحۡكُمُونَ

مَن كَانَ يَرۡجُوا۟ لِقَآءَ ٱللَّهِ فَإِنَّ أَجَلَ ٱللَّهِ لَـَٔاتٍۢ ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ

وَمَن جَـٰهَدَ فَإِنَّمَا يُجَـٰهِدُ لِنَفۡسِهِۦٓ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَغَنِىٌّ عَنِ ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِينَ

وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ لَنُكَفِّرَنَّ عَنۡهُمۡ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمۡ وَلَنَجۡزِيَنَّهُمۡ أَحۡسَنَ ٱلَّذِى كَانُوا۟ يَعۡمَلُونَ
en Those who believe [in the Oneness of Allâh (Monotheism) and in Messenger Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم , and do not give up their faith because of the harm they receive from the polytheists], and do righteous good deeds, surely, We shall expiate from them their evil deeds and shall reward them according to the best of that which they used to do.[2]Source: The Noble Qur'an – English Translation (Hilali & Khan) · Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan · QuranEnc distribution

وَوَصَّيۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنَ بِوَٰلِدَيۡهِ حُسۡنًۭا ۖ وَإِن جَـٰهَدَاكَ لِتُشۡرِكَ بِى مَا لَيۡسَ لَكَ بِهِۦ عِلۡمٌۭ فَلَا تُطِعۡهُمَآ ۚ إِلَىَّ مَرۡجِعُكُمۡ فَأُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ
en And We have enjoined on man to be good and dutiful to his parents; but if they strive to make you join with Me (in worship) anything (as a partner) of which you have no knowledge, then obey them not. وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ لَنُدۡخِلَنَّهُمۡ فِى ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ
en And for those who believe (in the Oneness of Allâh and the other articles of Faith)[3] and do righteous good deeds, surely, We shall make them enter with (in the entrance of) the righteous (in Paradise).Source: The Noble Qur'an – English Translation (Hilali & Khan) · Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan · QuranEnc distribution

وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يَقُولُ ءَامَنَّا بِٱللَّهِ فَإِذَآ أُوذِىَ فِى ٱللَّهِ جَعَلَ فِتۡنَةَ ٱلنَّاسِ كَعَذَابِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَئِن جَآءَ نَصۡرٌۭ مِّن رَّبِّكَ لَيَقُولُنَّ إِنَّا كُنَّا مَعَكُمۡ ۚ أَوَلَيۡسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَعۡلَمَ بِمَا فِى صُدُورِ ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِينَ
en Of mankind are some who say: "We believe in Allâh." But if they are made to suffer for the sake of Allâh, they consider the trial of mankind as Allâh’s punishment; and if victory comes from your Lord, (the hypocrites) will say: "Verily we were with you (helping you)." وَلَيَعۡلَمَنَّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَلَيَعۡلَمَنَّ ٱلۡمُنَـٰفِقِينَ

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱتَّبِعُوا۟ سَبِيلَنَا وَلۡنَحۡمِلۡ خَطَـٰيَـٰكُمۡ وَمَا هُم بِحَـٰمِلِينَ مِنۡ خَطَـٰيَـٰهُم مِّن شَىۡءٍ ۖ إِنَّهُمۡ لَكَـٰذِبُونَ
en And those who disbelieve say to those who believe: "Follow our way and we will verily bear your sins." Never will they bear anything of their sins. وَلَيَحۡمِلُنَّ أَثۡقَالَهُمۡ وَأَثۡقَالًۭا مَّعَ أَثۡقَالِهِمۡ ۖ وَلَيُسۡـَٔلُنَّ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَـٰمَةِ عَمَّا كَانُوا۟ يَفۡتَرُونَ

وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوۡمِهِۦ فَلَبِثَ فِيهِمۡ أَلۡفَ سَنَةٍ إِلَّا خَمۡسِينَ عَامًۭا فَأَخَذَهُمُ ٱلطُّوفَانُ وَهُمۡ ظَـٰلِمُونَ
en And indeed We sent Nûh (Noah) to his people, and he stayed among them a thousand years less fifty years [inviting them to believe in the Oneness of Allâh (Monotheism), and discard the false gods and other deities]; and the Deluge overtook them while they were Zâlimûn (wrong-doers, polytheists, disbelievers).Source: The Noble Qur'an – English Translation (Hilali & Khan) · Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan · QuranEnc distribution

فَأَنجَيۡنَـٰهُ وَأَصۡحَـٰبَ ٱلسَّفِينَةِ وَجَعَلۡنَـٰهَآ ءَايَةًۭ لِّلۡعَـٰلَمِينَ

16
وَإِبۡرَٰهِيمَ إِذۡ قَالَ لِقَوۡمِهِ ٱعۡبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَٱتَّقُوهُ ۖ ذَٰلِكُمۡ خَيۡرٌۭ لَّكُمۡ إِن كُنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ

17
إِنَّمَا تَعۡبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ أَوۡثَـٰنًۭا وَتَخۡلُقُونَ إِفۡكًا ۚ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ تَعۡبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ لَا يَمۡلِكُونَ لَكُمۡ رِزۡقًۭا فَٱبۡتَغُوا۟ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرِّزۡقَ وَٱعۡبُدُوهُ وَٱشۡكُرُوا۟ لَهُۥٓ ۖ إِلَيۡهِ تُرۡجَعُونَ
en "You worship besides Allâh only idols, and you only invent falsehood. Verily, those whom you worship besides Allâh have no power to give you provision: so seek your provision from Allâh (Alone), and worship Him (Alone), and be grateful to Him. 18
وَإِن تُكَذِّبُوا۟ فَقَدۡ كَذَّبَ أُمَمٌۭ مِّن قَبۡلِكُمۡ ۖ وَمَا عَلَى ٱلرَّسُولِ إِلَّا ٱلۡبَلَـٰغُ ٱلۡمُبِينُ

أَوَلَمۡ يَرَوۡا۟ كَيۡفَ يُبۡدِئُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡخَلۡقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥٓ ۚ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ يَسِيرٌۭ

قُلۡ سِيرُوا۟ فِى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَٱنظُرُوا۟ كَيۡفَ بَدَأَ ٱلۡخَلۡقَ ۚ ثُمَّ ٱللَّهُ يُنشِئُ ٱلنَّشۡأَةَ ٱلۡـَٔاخِرَةَ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىۡءٍۢ قَدِيرٌۭ
en Say: "Travel in the land and see how (Allâh) originated the creation, and then Allâh will bring forth the creation of the Hereafter (i.e. resurrection after death).
